This system is designed to give the contractor the full 220 CFM (cubic feet per minute) airflow needed to meet the 2017 OSHA Silica Dust standards for 7″ grinding wheels while maintaining the option of having two individual 110 CFM vacuums for jobs with smaller wheels that don’t require 220 CFM.
Our unique hose system combines two of our 110 CFM HEPA certified vacuums to make one 220 CFM system, This exceeds the new OSHA Silica Dust standards that specify a 180 CFM vacuum when used with 7″ diamond grinding wheels. When the hose system is removed, the vacuums easily convert to two separate 110 CFM systems.
The Dust Collection Products Industrial HEPA vacuum comes with a 1-year warranty. It has a certified HEPA filter and is capable of providing excellent collection of silica, epoxy, asbestos, antifouling paint and other toxic dusts in the most demanding conditions.
The vacuum has a triple filtration system. The replaceable heat-treated polypropylene filter is for large particles and will hold up to 25 pounds of dust. Behind the replaceable filter bag is a HEPA filter that will remove toxic dusts down to .3 micron. A Dacron filter bag surrounds the HEPA filter to extend the life of the HEPA filter. Replaceable filters are always in stock.
Whereas most commercial vacuums move around 60-90 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air, the Dust Collection Products vacuum moves 110 CFM. In addition to moving 110 cfm, the vacuum pulls 105″ of lift compared to less than 40″ of lift for most other commercial vacuums. The advantage of greater lift is that the vacuum will still be efficient and pull 110 CFM even when the filter bags begin to fill up with fine silica dust. This will save the contractor the price of buying more filters.
The Dust Collection Products vacuum is specifically designed for collecting concrete dust, soot, drywall dust and other toxic airborne contaminates. The increased airflow, greater lift and 1-year warranty combine to make the Dust Collection Products vacuum an excellent value.
Important Note
When using this vacuum system to grind fine materials such as concrete dust or body fillers, it is important to change the replaceable filter bags as soon as the efficiency decreases. Although this system has up to 3 times the static lift (water lift) of standard vacuums, these dusts are very fine and will clog the filters sooner than wood or paint dusts.
As a general rule, change the filter bag when the replaceable filter bag is half full or less.

How the Dust Collection Products HEPA Vacuum Works
The 2-stage air thru technology ensures consistent uninterrupted airflow regardless of how full the bag is. When the bag is full, simply lift the self-sealing bag out of the tank and dispose of it.
