Step 1 – Remove the cord from the power source.

Step 2 – Using a 7/16 wrench, remove the nut on the right side of the pivot pin at the front of the saw.

Step 3 – Using the screwdriver, remove the pivot pin from the front of the saw.

Step 4 – Insert the mounting bolt (provided ) into the pivot pin hole.

Step 5 – When the threads begin to appear on the right side of the pivot pin bracket, place the right side shield of the Saw Muzzle over the threads and continue to screw the mounting bolt into the pivot pin hole until it is snug.

Step 6 – Put the washer and 1/4 x 20 nut onto the exposed threaded portion of the mounting bolt and tighten until snug.

Step 7 – Set the left side shield against the hex head of the mounting bolt. Insert the 1/4 x 20 bolt with washer (provided) through the hole in the left side shield and thread the bolt into the hex head of the mounting bolt. Tighten until snug.

Step 8 – Insert a 1 1/4” tapered vacuum hose wand into the exhaust port of the Saw Muzzle. It is now ready to use.

Vacuum requirements: The Saw Muzzle will work with any vauum but for optimum efficiency use a vacuum rated at or above 11.5 amps (1.75 continuous hp) or 110 cfm.
